At the conception of WETA, the people who organized and started our association developed a tradition. Part of that tradition was a desire to share information and to provide training for fellow members from all over the State of Wisconsin. Members were from the adult vocational education system, public schools, workers from state agencies, workers from community based organizations, companies and other entities. They all had a desire to share good practices, to update members on new legislation, to share solutions and ways to exceed in the performance of their jobs and professions. By organizing and holding conferences, they were able to share that professionalism with people from the full spectrum of the employment and training community in Wisconsin.
Each year we have a wonderful slate of keynote speakers and break out sessions for our members. While you are with us, remember out traditions and mutual visions. As we continue to create the partnership between our associations, success will follow.
Thursday Keynote Speaker - Ron Glodowski, “The Real Deal on Crime, Drugs, and Easy Money”
Friday Keynote Speaker - Zenja Glass, Author of “25 Reasons Why They Won’t Hire You: How to Overcome Unfair Hiring Practices AND Get Hired”
